At Listaris ("we," "us," or "our"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data of our users ("you," "merchants," or "customers"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Software-as-a-Service platform.

1. Information We Collect

Account Data: We collect your name, email address, billing information, and encrypted password when you register for an account.
Connected Marketplace Data: When you authorize Listaris to connect to your eBay accounts via OAuth, we fetch and store marketplace data necessary to provide our service. This includes listing details, pricing data, buyer messages, transaction history, and fulfillment information.
Usage Data: We automatically collect diagnostic data regarding how you interact with our platform (e.g., IP addresses, browser types, timestamps, and page views) to improve our application performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We strictly use the collected information for the following business purposes:

To provide, maintain, and operate the Listaris dashboard, including generating analytical reports and automating tasks.
To securely communicate with third-party APIs (such as eBay Trading and REST APIs) on your behalf.
To process your subscription payments and send administrative emails regarding account status or service updates.
To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraudulent activity.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or your marketplace data to any third parties for marketing purposes. We only share information under the following strict circumstances:

Service Providers: We share necessary data with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating our platform (e.g., AWS/Railway for cloud hosting, Stripe for secure payment processing). These providers are bound by strict data processing agreements.
Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if legally required to do so in response to a valid subpoena, court order, or government request.

4. Data Security & Retention

We implement robust, industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including end-to-end encryption for API keys, OAuth tokens, and sensitive database fields. However, no electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your account and marketplace data only as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will permanently purge all your connected marketplace data and OAuth tokens within 30 days, retaining only basic billing history as required by tax law.

5. API & Third-Party Platform Policies

Our application interacts directly with eBay. By using Listaris, you also agree to be bound by eBay's Privacy Notice and User Agreement. Our use of information received from eBay APIs will strictly adhere to the eBay Developer API License Agreement.

6. Your Data Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. You may easily disconnect any linked marketplace accounts from the Listaris Settings dashboard to immediately halt data fetching.
